The CONSOL R&D Analytical Services Laboratory is a modern, 20,000 sq ft facility specializing in energy and environmental services.

CONSOL R&D presented a paper entitled "Utilizing Modified ASTM Coal Standard Methods to Characterize Woody Feedstocks" at the 2009 International BIOMASS Conference and Expo in Portland, Oregon on May 1, 2009.  This paper documents the equivalency and differences of ASTM and CEN Standard Methods that are typically used for the analysis of biomass samples.
